INQUIRING BANDS

If you’re interested in playing at one of our locations, you’ve come to the right spot!

At BarrelHouse, we host free live music on six of our unique stages across four of our taproom locations. Please check out the details below, and if BHBC is a good fit, complete the BAND REQUEST form to start the process.

What is the process you ask and why do you have a process? With six free stages and a ticketed amphitheater stage you can imagine how many inquires we receive each and every day. To stream line the experience we created the following process:

1. Inquiring band reads about each of our locations to decide which is the best fit

2. Inquiring band completes the online form and submits all the necessary information.

3. Our experienced team decides if your band is a good fit, based on a number of factors. If you aren’t chosen this doesn’t mean we didn’t like your music or it wasn’t good enough, it just means for a number of reasons it’s not what we’re looking for at the moment.

4. If your band is given the green light, we’ll request a W-9 to be completed online.

5. Once completed the taproom(s) of your choice will be notified and each will reach out to you to discuss future booking dates.

Paso Robles Brewery and Beer Gardens

Paso Robles Truck Bed Stage:

• Outdoor beer garden truck bed stage

• Free music - Non-ticketed events

• No PA or stage lights are provided (other than spots to highlight the band) - ambient outdoor light only

• Minimal shade, we recommend an ez-up. We have loaners if needed.

Paso Robles Amphitheater Stage:

Monthly ticketed concerts are reserved for larger bands capable of bringing in 500+ people. All bookings are managed by Good Medicine Presents.

Our beer garden is an all-ages venue and we’re only interested in bands that are upbeat and family-friendly.

BarrelHouse San Luis Obispo Speakeasy and Taproom

SLO Taproom Music Area:

• Intimate downstairs taproom space

• Free music - Non-ticketed events

• No PA or stage lights are provided (other than spots to highlight the band)

• One Dedicated 20amp circuit is provided in each space

• Spotlights highlighting the bands

• Live music is booked year-round

• No Green Room

• SOLO play in the corner (near the flag) - 6.5’ x 6.5’

• LARGER BANDS play in the “Lounge” against the brick wall - 10’ x 10’

• No elevated stage

• Taproom Capacity: 64

• Bands play from 9pm to 11pm, Thursday - Saturday. Unless it is a specific event they can go until 12am.

• We ask that all bands show up early, around 8pm to unload and set up. On Thursdays specifically, we ask bands to come even earlier because of SLO Farmers’ Market. The streets close at 6pm.

• We’re located in the heart of downtown SLO, so there are no designated parking spots. We have street parking and parking structures nearby. There is a yellow zone out front for loading in/out.

• The music Budget ranges from $250 - $300 based on band size, following, and other factors.
